Exelon Nuclear partners with Integrity Integrated to offer Quad-City Leadership Academy
CORDOVA, Illinois (January 20, 2012) Exelon Nuclear is partnering with leadership development organization Integrity Integrated to offer the Quad-City Leadership Academy, an initiative to nurture, build, and connect local leaders to provide them with the tools necessary to create positive change.
As the community partner, Exelon provides a sustainable community leadership program in the Quad-Cities.
“Developing future business and community leaders is essential for theQuadCityarea,” said Bill Stoermer, Communications Manager. “We are proud to partner in this program that has proven successful in instilling the leadership fundamentals so important to businesses today.”
The program meets for eight sessions at Quad-City businesses and is facilitated by Ginny Wilson-Peters, president and owner of Integrity Integrated. Topics will include leadership, vision, teamwork and managing change. Participants will discuss issues and opportunities facing our community with prominent local leaders and to hear their personal leadership journeys.
“The Leadership Academy was truly motivating. Ginny provided a fresh prospective on effective leadership skills and ways to use those skills to create a positive change in our community. I was able to take a closer look at myself, concentrate on my strengths, and build my own leadership style,” said Melissa Brown, a 2011 graduate of the Quad City Leadership Academy.
